Mushroom Harvesting Robot

Summer 2023 – Present

Development of a fully autonomous mushroom harvesting robot integrating RGB-D sensing, deep learning-based detection and segmentation, 3D pose estimation, and robotic actuation using a compact hybrid gripper.

  • End-to-end perception stack: data collection, instance segmentation, and pose estimation.
  • Reliable 3D perception via depth inpainting for downstream grasp planning.
  • Edge deployment with real-time constraints and robust performance in farms.
